Grade 3 Mt Evelyn Camp 2009
The first day started at Glen Katherine. We waited patiently for the buses and then we were off! Our first school camp at Mt Evelyn. The buses took us through Diamond Creek and then over the big hill and into Yarra Glen. From there we passed through Lilydale until we arrived for morning tea at the Mt Evelyn Campsite. We had a fantastic time at camp. And what about the activities? Giant swing, bike ed, initiatives, low ropes, archery, wildlife experience as well liquid gold. At night we wrote our diaries, danced, competed in the Teddy Olympics and raced against the other teams. On Tuesday night we also watched a DVD....... or least part of it. The walk to Silvan Dam was tiring but the food at the end was great. Then on the buses and back to GK. Is it really over?
