Junior School Council

The Junior School Council (JSC) gives students many wonderful opportunities to demonstrate their leadership qualities and voice their ideas.

Junior School Council members meet fortnightly with our school assistant principal, Mr Ellis and then on the opposite week report to their designated classrooms. During meetings, our JSC discuss ways to improve the school, speak on behalf of the classrooms they represent and help students have a voice in the activities and programs offered at GK.

This year, the JSC commitee is made up of selected JSC leaders from grade 2-6. JSC leaders in grade 6 also represent our Prep and Grade 1 classes, meeting with them fortnightly to capture student voice and report back on important actions decided by the JSC committee.
