Community Involvement *elective*

Our Community Involvement elective takes our GK students to local kindergartens and aged care facilities giving our students the opportunity to experience caring for others and observing facilities that cater for community groups. Our students learn how these facilities operate and support staff by playing with and entertaining the people being educated and cared for.

Our CI students also support learning back onsite at GK by visiting our junior grades and listening to students read, reading to students, playing maths games and forming connections to the younger students which fosters a positive connection to school for all.
